About Us
The Guqin Association of Singapore is affiliated to the Singapore Chinese Music Federation. It is a financially non-profit organization that is self-funded and independently accounted. It is registered with the Registry of Societies and hence supervised and managed by the Singapore government.
Mission
1. Promote the cultural and artistic development of Guqin in Singapore and enhance the cultural and artistic exchange of Guqin between local and overseas Guqin players.
2. Focus on supporting and discovering local Guqin talents in Singapore.
3. From time to time, organise charitable Guqin performances, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, forums, and seminars etc.
4. Provide funding and sponsorship for local Guqin research and development.
